This is a temporary position covering sickness which may lead to something more permanent.

For now the role requires someone until 31st October 2025.

You are invited to apply for a role within a busy, growing family owned and operated sports supply business.

The ideal candidate will be involved in the warehouse side of the business. The aim of the role is to support existing staff intaking goods into the warehouse and delivery of goods out to our customers plus all other warehousing duties.

We require someone who is available on

Monday 9.15am to 5pm
Thursday 9.15am to 5pm
Friday 9.30am to 4pm

Responsibilities

Open the warehouse in the morning to prepare for the days tasks Intaking goods Counting in coming goods and checking off delivery notes Putting incoming goods into correct positions in warehouse Labelling in coming goods properly including the creation and printing of labels Printing off orders from in-house stock control system (full training will be provided) Picking orders and packing them safetly, neatly and economically into boxes and post bags Labelling orders with correct addresses and recording their dispatch Restocking goods onto shelves within the warehouse Stock taking Disposing of unwanted packaging correctly Maintain and update all IT systems eg stock control software Communicate with colleagues over the phone, email, in-house IT systems and in person Maintain a friendly, safe, clean and productive work environment
Qualifications

Basic ability to work a computer and type. Ability to follow instructions, read carefully and count accurately.
The ideal candidate will be physically able to carry out lifting tasks, punctual, reliable, have a will-do attitude, get along working in a small team and want to work in a busy warehouse where no two days are the same.
