Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Packer to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. Duties

Handle materials with care, ensuring proper packing techniques are applied. Operate forklifts safely for loading and unloading goods as required. Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing stock levels. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are accounted for. Engage in picking and packing orders accurately to meet customer specifications. Maintain an organised warehouse environment by stocking shelves and managing inventory effectively. Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise. Conduct quality control checks on products before packing to ensure they meet company standards. Perform heavy lifting as necessary, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

Proven experience in materials handling within a warehouse setting. Familiarity with forklift operation is essential; certification is preferred. Knowledge of warehouse management systems is advantageous for efficient inventory tracking. Experience in shipping and receiving processes is highly desirable. Strong background in picking, packing, and stocking procedures within a warehouse environment. Mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting tasks. Excellent attention to detail for quality control purposes. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
