We are seeking a dedicated and efficient

Warehouse Operative

to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in of the Oska service by ensuring all orders are accurately fulfilled, properly packaged, and dispatched on time. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, managing goods-in processes, and contributing to a safe, clean, and well-organised warehouse environment. This position is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.

Duties



Carry out Goods-In functions, including returns processing, supplier deliveries, stock checking, labelling, put-away, and pallet reallocation. Receive and verify incoming container shipments. Pick, pack, and prepare outbound orders. Investigate stock anomalies and process stock/customer returns efficiently. Assist with the booking and receipting of stock, updating systems with stock movements, adjustments, and errors. Clean and check equipment being returned from demos. Operate forklifts (Flexi / Aisle Master/ Bendi ideally) and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently. Conduct quality control checks on both incoming and outgoing goods. Perform perpetual stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records. Ensure a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment at all times. Collaborate with the wider team to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations. Plan and optimise the use of storage space within the warehouse as well as rotation and condensing of stock into appropriate locations.

Skills



Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items. Ability to work independently and under own initiative. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Reliable and punctual, with a proactive work ethic. Good communication and teamwork skills. Basic English and Maths skills. Solid understanding of Health & Safety regulations. Forklift licence required; Flexi / Aisle Master/ Bendi experience preferred. IT literate and comfortable using warehouse systems and basic computer software. Excellent team player with the ability to communicate effectively across a diverse workforce.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,000.00-27,000.00 per year
