Job Description

To operate heat seal machinery and support warehouse operations in the production of customized workwear. The role ensures garments are correctly branded, quality checked, and dispatched on time.

Responsibilities

Heat seal machine operation: Prepare garments, position logos/labels, and run heat seal presses safely and efficiently. Design application: Ensure correct placement of transfers, logos, and badges according to customer specifications. Quality control: Inspect finished garments for alignment, durability, and accuracy before packing. Warehouse duties: Receive, store, pick, and pack workwear orders, maintaining accurate stock records. Workflow coordination: Work closely with production and customer service teams to meet deadlines. Maintenance checks: Carry out basic cleaning and upkeep of heat seal equipment, reporting faults promptly. Health & safety compliance: Follow safe handling procedures for machinery, garments, and warehouse equipment.

Qualifications

Attention to detail: Ensuring transfers are applied correctly and consistently. Technical aptitude: Comfortable operating heat seal presses and following machine guidelines. Organizational skills: Managing multiple orders and prioritizing urgent jobs. Teamwork: Collaborating with embroidery, warehouse, and logistics staff. Previous experience in warehouse operations or garment decoration preferred. Familiarity with heat seal machines or textile printing processes is an advantage. Forklift license or warehouse equipment certification desirable. Must be authorized to work in UK.
