Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution center. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management and a strong understanding of inventory control processes. You will be responsible for various tasks, including shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and materials handling.

Duties

Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes for loading and unloading materials. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure accurate stock levels. Perform picking and packing of orders, ensuring that items are correctly selected and prepared for shipment. Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate inventory control. Assist in stocking shelves and organizing products within the warehouse. Follow all safety protocols in accordance with OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution processes. Utilize RF scanners for tracking inventory movements and order fulfillment. Participate in training on new equipment or procedures as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, with knowledge of warehouse management practices. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts and order pickers. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with materials handling. Experience with shipping & receiving processes, including packaging standards. Knowledge of inventory management techniques, including AS400 systems is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in order picking and stock management. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Pay: 24,420.00-28,500.00 per year
