Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to materials handling, stocking, and shipping & receiving. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Location:

Heathrow, Cargo Terminal

Full-Time | 4 ON 2 OFF | Days & Nights | Weekend shifts

Pay Rate:

12.21 (Days) | 12.75 (Nights) up to 17 subject to licenses acquired.

Duties

Handle materials with care, ensuring proper cargo loading and unloading of goods from transport vehicles. Perform picking & packing duties to prepare orders for shipment. Assist with shipping & receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Maintain an organised warehouse environment by stocking shelves and ensuring products are easily accessible. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to safety protocols. Engage in heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Wrapping and unwrapping pallets within the warehouse.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 20 kg) consistently throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for maintaining accurate stock levels. A proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork is required, along with effective communication skills. Valid Forklift license would be beneficial

PCC issued in the UK (if living in the UK for less than 5 years). 5 years checkable history + HMRC. Basic DBS check.
