We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. Duties

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Utilise a warehouse management system for tracking inventory and managing stock levels. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse. Perform stocking duties to maintain optimal inventory levels on shelves. Assist with picking and packing orders accurately for shipping. Participate in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all goods are accounted for. Load and unload lorries as required, ensuring safe handling of products. Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency. Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with warehouse management systems such as AS400 is advantageous. Strong skills in materials handling, including heavy lifting (up to 25kg). Experience in construction or related fields is a plus. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. A proactive approach to problem-solving with good mechanical knowledge is beneficial.
