About the Role

We are a recycling company looking for a reliable and physically capable Warehouse Operative to support day to day warehouse operations. The role involves receiving deliveries, reorganising stock where required, taking inventory, and preparing items for onward dispatch. This is a hands on role suited to someone with proven warehouse experience and a strong awareness of health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Driving a counterbalance forklift Loading and unloading lorries Receiving and checking deliveries Taking inventory and recording stock accurately Palletising items and preparing goods for dispatch Rearranging and organising warehouse stock as required Manual handling and heavy lifting of items up to 25kg Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and organised Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times Working as part of a team to meet daily operational targets

Requirements

Accredited counterbalance forklift licence Previous warehouse experience is mandatory Physically fit and comfortable with manual and heavy work Ability to work independently and follow instructions safely Strong attention to detail and organisation Good understanding of health and safety in a warehouse environment
