Solseal is the leading UK distributor of sealants, adhesives, mortars and specialist construction products. We have four branches across the UK in addition to our ecommerce platforms.

The Warehouse Operative is responsible for the efficient picking, packing, and dispatch of goods to ensure on-time delivery, accuracy, and safety compliance.

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to the storage, packing, and shipping of goods. This position requires physical stamina and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Move, organize, and store products on shelving, pallets or in bulk storage areas Pick customer orders accurately Pack orders securely, label appropriately, and prepare for shipment Load outbound trucks, ensuring correct product sequencing Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with health & safety regulations Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and according to company procedures Assist with ad-hoc tasks such as returns processing

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential. Forklift license preferable but not required Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the shift. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in picking and packing orders. A proactive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration within a diverse workforce. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Basic numeracy and literacy skills; comfortable using a computer Good physical fitness: able to lift up to 25 kg repeatedly and stand for long periods Effective communication and teamwork skills Flexible, reliable, and punctual attitude

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 40 per week
