About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our team at Hairdressing Supplies based in our Witham St Hughs warehouse. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to start or grow a career in warehouse and logistics. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided. This is a full time, 3 month temporary role.

In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations, including order picking and packing, stock handling, goods receiving, returns and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Attention to detail and a proactive approach are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders using our Warehouse Management System Receive deliveries and ensure incoming goods are checked and processed correctly Perform regular stock checks and report any discrepancies Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety procedures Assist with general warehouse tasks to support the wider team Attend weekly team meetings and contribute to performance improvements Follow company procedures and work to high operational standards

What We're Looking For

Reliable, punctual, and hard-working attitude Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Comfortable with manual handling (lifting items up to 20kg) Flexible and willing to work in different areas of the warehouse as needed Good communication skills and a team-focused mindset Basic computer skills Forklift licence and/or manual handling training is an advantage, but not required A full UK driver's licence is beneficial due to location, but not essential
