Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accurate stock levels. Handle materials with care, including loading and unloading goods from lorries. Perform picking and packing duties to prepare orders for shipment. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly documented. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse space. Conduct regular stock checks and assist in stocking shelves as required. Utilise mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on warehouse equipment when necessary. Engage in heavy lifting tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable, particularly in roles involving materials handling, stocking, and shipping & receiving. Experience in construction or related fields is beneficial but not essential. A proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency is crucial.
