Artek is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our logistics and operations team. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day warehouse functions including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch accurately and efficiently.
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
Conduct regular stock checks and assist in inventory management.
Ensure all goods are handled safely and stored according to company procedures.
Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors promptly.
Support other departments with material handling as required.
Skills Required:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good physical fitness and ability to lift moderate weights.
Basic computer skills for inventory and dispatch systems.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Punctual, responsible, and safety-conscious.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
Forklift or machinery operation certification (advantageous but not mandatory).
