Job Title: Warehouse Operative


Department: Warehouse


Responsible to: Warehouse Manager


Schedule: 06:00am -1430pm Mon-Fri


06:00am-1430pm Tues-Sat

WHAT WILL YOUR DAY TO DAY LOOK LIKE:-

Takes part in all cleaning functions daily and signs off check sheet


Maintains pro-active communication/relationship with peers/superiors and especially informs superior immediately of discrepancies, problems or non-performance or non-observance


Load & Offload vehicles


Ensures all warehouse related tasks are performed


Ensures all physical barcode scanning is performed as required


Ensures good housekeeping, bins emptied daily


Monitors day to day H&S in the warehouse and highlight areas of concern


When trailers are loaded/offloaded make sure that both manifest sheets are marked with any discrepancies and signed by the person that offloaded the trailer.


Ensures that all health and safety guidelines and procedures are kept to. Also that all team members or anyone entering the warehouse has full PP

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO I REQUIRE:-

1-2 years' experience in similar role is desirable


Previous experience in freight forwarding / transport or similar industry desirable


Exceptional communication skills and command of the English language, both written and verbal


Forklift counter balance desirable
