Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to the overall success of our logistics and supply chain processes. This position involves various tasks related to materials handling, inventory management, and order fulfilment.

Duties

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Manage inventory using a warehouse management system to track stock levels and movements. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stocking and organisation within the warehouse. Assist in picking and packing orders accurately for shipping. Participate in shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading goods from lorries. Backshift 2pm to 10pm 5 shifts a week from Sun - Fri Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organised work environment. Follow safety protocols to minimise risks associated with heavy lifting and equipment operation.

Skills

Proven experience in a warehouse setting is highly desirable. Strong skills in materials handling, including experience with heavy lifting techniques. Knowledge of picking & packing processes to ensure accurate order fulfilment. Experience in shipping & receiving operations, including documentation procedures. Mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance is an asset. Background in construction may be beneficial for understanding material handling requirements.
