Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to materials management, stocking, and shipping. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring safe handling of materials. Manage inventory using a warehouse management system, ensuring accurate stock levels. Perform picking and packing of orders for dispatch, adhering to quality standards. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments. Maintain a clean and organised work area, following health and safety regulations. Conduct regular stock checks and assist with restocking shelves as necessary. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve operational efficiency.
Skills
Previous warehouse experience is desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physically demanding tasks. Excellent attention to detail for accurate order fulfilment and inventory management. Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
