Bluestones is working with a leading distribution company in the mallusk area and due to continued they have a requirement for immediate start warehouse operatives

Hours Monday To Thursday 8:15am - 5:15pm Friday 8:15am - 2:45pm There is weekend work paid at over time rate

Salary 12.21 basic Overtime 18.31

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to the handling of goods. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently. Utilise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing stock levels. Handle heavy lifting and ensure safe loading and unloading of goods from lorries. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly documented. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve warehouse operations. Build pallets or stacks of products as necessary for storage or shipment.

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with picking, packing, and stock management processes is advantageous. Mechanical knowledge is a plus, particularly in relation to operating warehouse equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
