What you'll be doing?




Our Bedroom Furnishings division, BD Living provide furnishing solutions that will fit in with our customers' homes perfectly. This team supply's and fits storage and bedroom furniture, from cutting edge styles to contemporary classics.



Reporting to the Fitting and Service Manager, you will ensure the quality and service level expectations are delivered through effective warehousing operations.

Your responsibilities will include the:
Accurately pick and pack orders for dispatch. Maintain accurate stock records, manage spares, and support inventory checks. Assist in transporting goods to offsite to housing developments as required. Support the supervisor in maintaining on-site health and safety, including conducting daily and weekly checks. Assist the supervisor in the creation of risk assessments and maintaining records Demonstrate a proactive approach to tasks, ensuring work is completed efficiently and effectively to a high standard. Inspect products and stock to meet quality control standards. Ensure the facilities are maintained to an excellent standard in line with health and safety guidelines. Ensure compliance with processes and SOP's as required Carry out any other remedial tasks as required. Attend regional team meetings with occasional overnight stop overs

What you'll need?




To be successful in the role, we are looking for:


Strong practical skills for warehousing and processes are essential. Be a team player with good organisational and liaison skills. Possess a positive attitude. Ability to carry out instructions in line with warehouse requirements Experience of working in a warehouse environment. Awareness of the required H&S safety knowledge for the job role. Computer literacy required to use business systems and hardware. Accredited FLT license required or must be willing to undertake training to obtain one. Full UK driving License required. First Aid and Fire safety qualification or willing to obtain. IOSH qualification or willing to obtain.
