We are seeking a team-oriented Warehouse Operative to ensure the safe operation of a forklift truck while maintaining optimal output and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities / Duties:

Follow all Company Health and Safety rules and guidelines, reporting any 'Near Miss' or incidents immediately. Adhere to HACCP, quality, specification, and GMP procedures, achieving required standards. Fully segregate waste in line with company procedures. Stack pallets as required. Remove waste and keep yards and work areas clean and tidy. Safely use hand pump trucks. Be responsible for the picking process, including completion of pick sheets. Identify material and product varieties. Communicate non-conformances to the Warehouse Supervisor. Assist with stock takes. Complete paperwork returns and assist with the collection of quality samples. Manage infeed and collection to/from production areas and Goods In. Be responsible for all goods received and the attachment of traceability labelling. Ensure all stock movements are recorded accurately and correctly, in line with SAP controls. Work closely with Operations to ensure the right products are delivered as required to maintain optimal stock levels on the production floor. Operate a minimum of two different types of trucks used by the business (Reach, PPT, CB, VNA). Maintain hygiene awareness and GMP. Operate a scissor lift (training can be provided).

Experience / Qualifications:

Knowledge of the Warehouse/Logistics environment is essential. Holds a recognised and qualified forklift truck licence. English language/numeracy skills is required. Health and Safety training and qualification are preferred. Food and Hygiene Level 2 is preferred.
