We are seeking a reliable and hardworking
Warehouse Operative
to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you'll support daily site operations, machinery use, and maintain a safe and secure working environment.
Key Duties
Material Handling & Stock Control
Unloading paper, media, and products from vehicles.
Stacking paper bales and loading shipments for dispatch.
Shredding & Processing Operations
Shredding paper, textiles, I.T and other products via our static machinery.
Operating and maintaining shredding machinery safely and efficiently.
Operating forklifts safely and performing basic preventative maintenance.
Operating the site weighbridge.
Security & Safety Compliance
Safeguarding plant and equipment by locking and activating security systems.
Maintaining a responsible approach to health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
Reporting non-conformances and highlighting any areas of concern to management.
Assisting with certificates of destruction, waste transfer notes, and other paperwork for drivers and customers.
What We're Looking For
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
Reliable, safety-conscious, and a strong team player.
Willingness to operate machinery and forklifts (training will be provided).
Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Previous warehouse or plant experience is desirable.
