Employment Type:

Full-time Temporary and Temporary to Permanent Opportunities.

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:30am till 4pm, (40-Hours per week).

Pay Rate Range:

13.00 to 13.50 (depending on experience).

Earliest Start Date:

8th September after successful interview.

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team in Nursling. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to the handling, storage, and distribution of goods. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The company will offer forklift truck refresher courses to the successful candidate.

Responsibilities:

Operate pallet trucks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stocking and organisation. Perform picking and packing duties for outgoing shipments. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading goods. Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing heavy lifting tasks. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.

Experience:

Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of materials handling. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (AS400 experience is an advantage). Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating various equipment. Currently working in a warehouse operative role. Ability to perform heavy lifting and work on your feet for extended periods.
