A full-time vacancy is currently open at our new branch in Peterborough, we have a warehouse position available, job role includes picking & packing stock for delivery, unloading and putting stock away, booking in paperwork onto the system, general helping out in the branch where necessary, hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.30pm & alternate Saturday's 8.30am to 1pm, full UK driving licence required, must speak English, be able to work in a team as well as using their own initiative, appropriate dress attire needed, including PPE.

Summary

In the role of Warehouse Operative, you will be essential in managing materials handling and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. Reporting to the Branch Manager, your core skills in warehouse experience and materials handling will be vital for tasks such as stocking, picking and packing, and shipping and receiving. Your familiarity with warehouse management systems will enhance productivity. Additionally, your relevant skills in heavy lifting and mechanical knowledge will support the loading and unloading of goods. A valid driving license and proficiency in English are required for this position.

Responsibilities

Load and unload materials and products efficiently and safely. Handle and store inventory according to established procedures. Operate warehouse management systems as required. Perform heavy lifting and stocking tasks while adhering to safety standards. Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate documentation. Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
