Warehouse Operative

to join our growing team. You'll play a key role in our daily warehouse operations, ensuring customer orders are handled efficiently and stock is well managed.

What we're looking for:



Team player with a 'can do' attitude Great attention to detail Good communication and basic IT skills Forklift licence (or willingness to train - must be 18+)

What You'll Be Doing



Picking, packing and dispatching orders accurately and on time Receiving deliveries and checking goods for accuracy and quality Storing stock in the correct location and keeping the warehouse clean and organised Completing dispatch paperwork and updating records Following health and safety procedures at all times Supporting colleagues and working together to meet team goals Reporting any issues or discrepancies to the Team Leader Liaising with other departments to help resolve queries

Skills



Essential:



Strong attention to detail and accuracy Friendly, professional approach with a commitment to great customer service Reliable and punctual, with a good attendance record Excellent teamwork and communication skills Good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills Able to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a busy environment Awareness of health and safety in a warehouse setting Forklift truck licence, or willingness to train (mandatory for the role - must be age 18+ as per UK law for FLT operations)

Desirable:



Previous warehouse, goods in/out or order fulfilment experience Familiarity with using manual, electric, or air-powered hand tools Forklift experience (counterbalance or reach) Confident using IT systems, ideally Sage 200 An understanding of ISO standards or working within a Quality Management System
We'll provide full product training and an introduction to our Warehouse Management System, including basic Sage200.

Pay: From 12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
