Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver/warehouse operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage time effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and a strong commitment to customer service.

Duties

Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and lorries, in a safe and responsible manner. Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured for transport. Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during transit. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including heavy lifting and organisation of stock.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. (1 Year Required) Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices. (1 Year Required) Experience in warehouse operations is advantageous. (1 Year Required) Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members effectively. A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type being operated is essential. (1 Year Required)

Valid UK driver's license

Able to demonstrate good communication skills.

Understand the importance of customer satisfaction.

Ability to follow and adhere to company procedures and processes.

Ability to read and follow GPS and other navigational systems
