Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to materials management, stocking, and shipping. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable with heavy lifting and has a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track stock levels and locations. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper loading and unloading of goods. Perform picking and packing duties to prepare orders for shipment. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy in documentation. Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency. Conduct regular stock checks and assist with restocking as necessary. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.

Experience

Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable, particularly in roles involving materials handling. Familiarity with warehouse management systems, such as AS400, is advantageous. Experience in construction or mechanical knowledge will be beneficial for understanding equipment operations. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required, demonstrating physical stamina and strength. Skills in stocking, picking & packing, as well as shipping & receiving processes are essential for success in this role. Pay: 12.38-12.50 per hour
