We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, handling various tasks related to the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Utilise warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing stock levels. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper techniques for lifting and moving heavy items. Maintain an organised warehouse environment by stocking shelves and ensuring products are easily accessible. Perform picking and packing duties accurately to prepare orders for shipment. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading lorries. Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy and report discrepancies as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse to promote a safe working environment. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance of equipment as needed.

Experience

Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with materials handling techniques is advantageous. Ability to perform lifting consistently throughout the shift is required.
