Eurovalve (UK) Ltd specialises in the supply of valves and actuators to industry and has been established for 27 years. We are looking to recruit a warehouse operative within our small, friendly team. The right candidate will perform an interesting role with the potential to increase their skills and progress within the organisation.
THE ROLE:
Build customised pipeline valves with 'bolt on' additions. This will include the use of basic tooling, such as allen keys, spanners, files, hammers, screwdrivers. Advanced builds will involve using compressed air and electrics (training will be provided).
Guarantee accuracy during all stages of goods receipt, handling, storage, packing and delivery with a desire for a high-quality output.
Unpack and check goods inwards.
Pick and pack orders for despatch.
Handle steel valves and components.
Manage stock materials in specific locations.
Unload and load articulated vehicles.
Work accurately to documented quality procedures for the company's ISO 9001 accreditation.
Basic warehouse administration.
Maintain a safe, organised, working area with excellent housekeeping.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:
Essential - competent in the use of mechanical hand tools. A basic mechanical/engineering knowledge or background would be preferred.
Essential - reach truck licence, category D1 or D2.
Good physical strength and stamina.
Keen attention to detail with a strong desire to satisfy customer needs and achieve results.
Strong work ethic, diligent, reliable and punctual.
Enthusiastic, organised, and hardworking. Professional standard of appearance and discipline.
Capable of operating as a member of a small team in a fast-paced environment.
BENEFITS:
Full-time, permanent.
Salary 24,000 per annum, rising to around 26,000 after a successful 6-month probation period, subject to progress.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.00 pm.
45-minute lunch break.
Holidays: 30 days including statutory holidays (increases after three years).
