Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track stock levels and movements. Handle materials with care, including loading and unloading goods from lorries. Engage in picking and packing orders accurately to ensure timely shipping and receiving. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment. Assist with stocking shelves and managing inventory to optimise space utilisation. Perform basic mechanical tasks as required, demonstrating mechanical knowledge when necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.

Experience

Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable, particularly in roles involving materials handling, shipping, and receiving. Familiarity with AS400 or similar inventory management systems is advantageous. Experience in construction or related fields will be considered a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift is essential. A strong understanding of safety practices within a warehouse setting is required.
