Maintain inventory levels; issues material to shop floor, loads/unloads shipments; ships/packs goods, receives and records incoming material and material handling tasks. Possess and applies a broader knowledge of warehouse processes, protocols and procedures.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Reads picklist and issues materials to proper work areas.
Checks inventory on the computer and finds location of proper stock.
Inputs receipts into the computer.
Checks shipping orders to assure proper material is shipped to right vendor.
Loads and unloads trucks and prepares material for shipment. Operates order picker.
Counts, weighs and records number of units of material moved. Labels materials for shipment.
Contribute to general cleaning and good housekeeping practices throughout the facility.
Provide forklift operations for the Packaging and/or Shipping & Receiving departments. Load/Unload incoming and outbound trailers
Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas
Identify and label materials, and record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory
Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading them
Operate trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other equipment to move freight
Perform and report cycle counts
Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines
May assist with movement of all hazardous materials and Universal waste
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Perform Cycle Counts as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Forklift Certification may be required.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Able to follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices.

Account for daily production totals and product placement
