Overview

We are a rapidly growing independent service provider of apparel around the UK and Europe.

We are recruiting a warehouse operative to join us. This role is based in our head office at Stockport, Great Manchester.

This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently Labelling and preparing parcels for dispatch Loading and unloading goods from containers and lorries Receiving and processing incoming stock Counting and confirming inventory Inspecting inventory for damage and faults Communicating errors to relevant parties Marking and labelling stock Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely Perform materials handling tasks, including stocking shelves and organising products Conduct regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory levels Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals

Skills

Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable Proficient in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is desirable but not essential Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Excellent attention to detail for accurate order fulfilment Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
