Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team on a temporary basis. This position requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This temporary position is expected to be for 3-6 months, to provide additional support throughout peak season. Working hours for this role are 42.5hrs per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Duties

Your daily duties will include:

To work with a small team of operatives, performing picking and packing of orders accurately for shipping To ensure all orders and workload duties are completed to given timescales using the handheld scanners Manage inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track stock levels and movements. Handle materials with care, ensuring stocking and organisation within the warehouse. Load and unload goods from incoming shipments, ensuring all items are handled properly to prevent damage. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying that all shipments are complete and accurate.

Skills

Essential

Previous warehouse experience, particularly in materials handling and logistics Strong skills in stocking, picking & packing, as well as shipping & receiving processes Familiarity with using handheld scanners Able to perform heavy lifting safely and previous experience in manual handling
Desirable

Proficiency in operating forklifts is desirable; certification would be required.
