Warehouse Operative / Van Driver (nights)
Job Description
We are currently looking for a friendly individual to join our team, someone who will be asked to drive a van with daily deliveries to our customers in Chessington during the nights, load and unload the vehicles, maintain the vehicle in good order and clean at all times, someone who is comfortable working in the warehouse, taking deliveries in and storing the goods in the different areas of the shelves/racks. Due to the dynamic nature of the role, applicants MUST HAVE previous multi-drop experience to be considered. You will also need to complete a driving assessment with the client before starting this position.
Responsibilities
With a great can-do attitude, you will join our client\'s busy team to deliver around 20-40 drops per day to a mix of private companies and homes. Hand-balling of light packages is required. You will be respectful of others, and keep your vehicle clean and tidy.
Requirements
- Full UK license (category B) with no more than 6 points
- MUST HAVE Multi-drop experience
- Willing to work nights
- Able to load/unload and lift light packages
- Punctual and presentable
- Minimum two years of van driving experience (optional)
Standard work hours are Sunday night to Friday morning, 00:00 am - 8:00 am. However, the client will require some flexibility due to the nature of the role.
- Weekly pay
- Standard hourly rate \xc2\xa314.01 per hour Advance PAYE
