Job Title: Warehouse Operative

John Flowers Ltd has an exciting opportunity to join our growing business as a Warehouse Operative. The job role would entail, collating deliveries and loading orders, servicing employees with job tickets, general yard and warehouse upkeep and cleaning Duties. There will be completion of paperwork and lifting involved.

About the Role:

The successful candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate a combination of qualities including:

Forklift licence is essential Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential. Previous experience in a roofing setting is preferred but not essential. Strong mechanical knowledge is advantageous for operating equipment safely. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the shift. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is beneficial. Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in stock management. A positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the role will include all aspects of Warehouse Operative, including:

Perform shipping and receiving duties, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking of all incoming and outgoing goods. Load and unload products from lorries, ensuring safe handling of heavy items. Utilise mechanical knowledge to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Engage in picking and packing operations, preparing orders for dispatch with attention to detail. Maintain an organised stock area, ensuring that all items are stored correctly within the warehouse. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the warehouse environment.
