We currently have a vacancy for a Warehouse Operative with an apprenticeship programme attached. The successful candidate will assist in the end-to-end customer dispatch process, encompassing goods In, stock put away, picking, packing and dispatch. At all parts of the process striving to achieve 100 percent customer satisfaction both internal and external.

Key Responsibility's of the Role:
Delivery
Ensure efficient and effective picking and packing of company products to fulfil customer orders.
To meet key performance targets in line with the company guidelines.
Quality
Ensure all picks are 100 percent accurate, as per the customer order.
Ensure all products being packaged are in A1 condition and fit for purpose before being despatched.
Ensure sufficient packaging is used and of the correct type to ensure products are not damaged in transit.
Cost
Ensure that equipment used within the warehouse are treated in a manner to avoid damage.
Ensure that consumable items are used only for the purpose they are intended for.
Safety
All working area's must be always kept clean and tidy.
All spillages or damaged items must be reported immediately to a member of the management team.
Ensure that MHE equipment is only correctly used by certificated and trained members of staff.
Ensure correct PPE is always worn, PPE may be different for specific tasks and must be identified when moving to a new task.
General duties
To perform any reasonable task asked by a member of the warehouse management team.
To communicate any issues clearly and effectively to the warehouse management team.
To comply with all site rules.
Are you right for us?
Warehouse Experience (At least 1 year)
Experience of working within a high-volume warehouse.
Positive/Can do Attitude
The ability to multitask and work under pressure to tight deadlines and be: Well motivated, methodical and organised
Reliable
Comfortable using equipment related to the movement of heavy items.

Ability to work alone or as part of a team
