Warehouse Operative - Wix, Essex

About the Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our busy team in Wix. You'll be responsible for picking and packing customer orders, organising and storing stock, and ensuring goods are processed accurately and on time. This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and some heavy lifting, so a good level of physical fitness is required.

You'll also assist customers with parts enquiries and work closely with our workshop to ensure smooth and efficient parts supply. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, check and store incoming stock accurately Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders to a high standard Maintain accurate stock levels and report any discrepancies Ensure goods are moved safely and efficiently around the warehouse Monitor and update product pricing to ensure accuracy and consistency across the web shop and related systems Assist customers via phone, email and in person with parts enquiries and orders Advise customers on the correct vehicle parts (training provided) Process returns and update stock systems accordingly Support the workshop team with timely and accurate parts supply

About You

Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong attention to detail and organisational ability Confident using IT systems and able to learn new software quickly Technical understanding of vehicles/vehicle parts, or willingness to learn Positive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic Full UK Driving Licence essential Previous warehouse or automotive parts experience beneficial but not essential
