Description





We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team in Darton, who will be responsible for ensuring all straight pull orders are picked, packed and identified in accordance with Thyssenkrupp Working Practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring adherence to customer requirements whilst maintaining and promoting safe working practices and policies whilst engaged in your daily role.



Shift pattern:



Monday-Thursday - 7:45-16:30



Fridays - 8:00-13:00

Key Responsibilities





Driving side loader in order to pick sheet products. Packing products in line customer requirements and standard operating procedures The maintenance and accurate recording of all details on both the computer based stock control system and all other supporting documentation Promote continuous improvement processes to maximise stock and minimise waste in all operational processes Supporting the sheet process department by operating polycoater and guillotine once trained Ensuring all stock and customer parts are clearly identified in accordance with both Thyssenkrupp and customer requirements at all times Ensure conformance to Health and Safety operating regulations for employees, visitors and self whilst engaged on company business Genera warehouse duties

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise





Current reach truck mechanical handling licenses (desireable) Ability to understand specs and requirements Understanding of materials handling for all processed products in accordance with Health and Safety regulations Self-motivated, reliant, diligent, analytical and numerate PC Literate The ability to understand and use various types of measuring equipment Understanding of the full scope of quality processes applicable to handling of materials Ability to use all relevant areas of manufacturing computer based control system and all its supporting requirements. General Warehouse experience
