Rotating Shifts - 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm

The Warehouse Operative is integral to the efficient and timely movement of materials and finished goods throughout the entire supply chain, from initial receipt through to final distribution. This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities including receiving, picking, staging, put-away, and packing, ensuring a seamless flow of operations between various departments, including production and logistics.

Manage Material Flow:

Receive products, components, and materials, complete necessary manual operations (where applicable) and SAP transactions, resolve receiving issues, and ensure efficient replenishment of raw materials to production areas while adhering to FIFO principles.

Execute Picking and Packing:

Accurately pick and pack customer and affiliate requirements using RF gun or carousel system, ensuring items are packed on time and to the highest quality standards.

3.

Process Adherence and Quality Control:

Ensure strict adherence to all operational processes, particularly in the packing area, including mandatory use of EPTS for counting parts, to maintain high quality standards.

4.

Maintain Inventory Accuracy and Stock Movement:

Efficiently move finished goods to designated locations, perform put-away operations, and manage product returns to stores, ensuring correct re-location and contributing to warehouse productivity.

5.

Ensure Workplace Organisation and Safety:

Utilize all equipment and materials in accordance with health and safety requirements and maintain excellent 5S standards and housekeeping within the work area and production drop-off zones.

6.

Contribute to Continuous Improvement:

Actively participate in continuous improvement activities and proactively suggest ideas to enhance work areas or workflow through established processes (e.g., JDI process).
