Yard Master - Warehouse Operative

42.5 hours, Mon-Fri, 8am to 5pm

Role Summary:

Join our fast-paced warehouse team, responsible for receiving, inspecting, and booking in stock. You'll ensure all incoming goods meet quality standards and are ready for put-away or picking.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain warehouse and yard areas to high standards of tidiness. Ensure bins, skips, and cages are emptied and processed promptly. Liaise with the skip provider to reorder and maintain availability of: Metal waste skips, General waste skips and Wood waste skips. Promote recycling of waste (currently cardboard and metal) to reduce landfill. Liaise with pallet providers to maintain adequate levels of empty pallets for daily operations. Ensure empty pallets are available in pallet holding areas for all Uform users. Promptly unload deliveries upon arrival into the yard.
? What You'll Need:

Atleast 1 year warehouse experience Demonstrate the ability and willingness to work flexible and/or demanding hours as determined by the needs of the business. An individual who will represent the best interests of the company at all times in a professional and positive manner. Must set an example on behaviour, attendance, safety, fairness etc. Ability to prioritise work and use own initiative. Valid Fork truck licence (Desirable)
