About Us

We are a well-established and growing independent electrical wholesaler with a strong team culture and a commitment to reliable service. We are looking for a dependable and flexible Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver to support our day-to-day operations.

This role is predominantly ware-housed based, with occasional van driving to cover customer deliveries and inter-branch stock transfers depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Stock Duties :

Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently Load & unload deliveries, ensuring goods are handled correctly to avoid damage Receive and check incoming goods against delivery notes Manage stock movements using inventory management system Assist with stock control, replenishment and general warehouse organisation Maintain a clean, safe and well organised warehouse environment Support internal colleagues ensuring orders are ready on time

Delivery & Driving Duties:

Safely deliver goods to customers and between company sites when required Complete inter-branch stock transfers as needed Accurately check delivery documentation and obtain proof of delivery (PODS) Load and secure goods correctly for transport Maintain the company vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition, reporting any issues promptly Represent the business professionally during all deliveries Adhere to all road safety regulations and company procedures

Skills & Requirements:

Full UK driving license with a clean driving record (held for 2+ years) Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential Delivery driving experience is advantageous Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organisational and time-management skills Reliable, punctual and trustworthy A positive, can-do attitude
