Role Overview:The Warehouse Operative will carry out the accurate processing of incoming and outgoing pharmaceutical goods within the warehouse. Long distance driving will be required. Duties to be carried out in accordance with the company's Standard Operating Procedures and Good Distribution Practice.
Key responsibilities:
Warehouse Operatives with appropriate experience will be expected to deliver goods (this will include long distance driving).
Accepting and booking in deliveries from relevant suppliers.
Check in deliveries, ensuring that incoming goods are handled and stored in line with special requirements. Record quantity of stock, all batch numbers and expiry dates using scanners.
Allocate and record storage for ambient goods and fridge lines.
Carry out random stock checks.
Liaise with the Warehouse Manager on supplier returns.
Will undertake training for Good Distribution Practice and comply with internal improvement initiatives.
Accurate picking of goods utilising a picking sheet.
Checking, appropriate packing and preparation of goods for dispatch.
General good housekeeping.
Comply with Health and Safety regulations to ensure safe working environment.
Undertake other ad hoc duties as requested by the Warehouse Manager.
Experience & Qualifications:
Basic literacy and mental arithmetic skills.
IT literate
Good team working skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise and work effectively and efficiently
Good administration skills, concentration and attention to detail
No Criminal Record
Clean driving licence
47.5 hour week. Currently undergoing shift work due to Covid-19.
