About the Role:

We're looking for a full-time Warehouse Operative & Delivery Driver to join our busy and friendly team. This is a varied role, where you'll spend 3 days a week in our warehouse and 2 days a week on the road, delivering goods to customers.

The delivery driving element is a new and exciting opportunity, currently in development, offering the right candidate a chance to help shape this part of our service. You'll need to be confident, reliable, and customer-focused when out on deliveries, while also being hands-on and detail-oriented in the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Duties (3 Days/Week)

Organise and manage stock in designated areas Pack, label, and prepare orders for dispatch Conduct regular stock takes and report any discrepancies Maintain clear and safe warehouse aisles Carry out general housekeeping (sweeping, tidying, waste removal) Assist with loading/unloading deliveries Follow all site health and safety procedures

Delivery Driving (2 Days/Week)

Deliver goods on behalf of Polycote to our customers Follow planned routes and maintain timely delivery schedules Provide a professional and courteous service on customer sites Represent the company in a positive and reliable manner

Requirements:

Counterbalance Forklift licence (Essential) Full UK Driving Licence (Essential) Previous experience in a warehouse or manual handling role (Preferred) Good level of physical fitness and able to work on your feet Basic numeracy and attention to detail Self-motivated with a positive attitude Good timekeeping and reliability Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Confident in a customer-facing role
