Procure Direct Ltd are a family-run business, based in Lincoln. We specialise in energy-efficient LED lighting solutions within the education sector as well as industrial and commercial environments. We also undertake electrical installations, maintenance, repair, testing and inspections.

The Role:

Due to continual growth within our expanding business, an opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse operative / Delivery Driver to join our team. This is a key role supporting our operations, ensuring materials, equipment, and deliveries are managed efficiently and effectively.

You and the role:

This role is a full time (permanent) position. Hours are Mon-Fri 0830-1630.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching goods.

You will undertake deliveries and collections across the UK as required, ensuring all items are transported safely and securely.

You must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, liaising closely with office staff, engineers, and management.

You must be comfortable with manual handling (lifting items up to 30kg).

You will need a flexible approach, as the role can be varied and diverse.

You will ensure accurate stock control, including regular stock checks and maintaining up-to-date inventory records.

You must work in a safe manner, ensuring the Health and Safety of both yourself and others within the warehouse and during deliveries.

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient warehouse environment, adopting good general housekeeping at all times.

You should be capable of loading and unloading goods safely, including manual handling where required.

You will demonstrate good personal presentation, reliability, and timekeeping.

You should be able to demonstrate accurate and timely record keeping, including delivery notes and stock documentation.

Skills and Qualifications:

Full, clean UK driving licence and be a minimum of 25 years old for commercial insurance purposes (essential).

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role (desirable).

Great organisational skills and attention to detail.

Basic IT skills for stock management and record keeping.

Strong communication skills - working with the rest of the team to improve process and efficiencies.

26,000-27,500, negotiable, dependent on experience.
