Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a dual role of ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to materials management, shipping, and receiving, as well as dropping same day deliveries and working as a relief driver when required.

Same Day Delivery Driver



Ensure that customer deliveries take place in an efficient, accurate and timely manner. Exceed customer expectations by giving an exemplary and personalised service. Keeps accurate records of deliveries and customer authorisation and ensure all documentation is submitted to the Warehouse Supervisor on return. May have to lift heavy products or parcels Drives safely and follow all laws and rules of driving to maintain a safe and healthy work environment Keeps company vehicle clean and ensure it is well-maintained, has fuel, oil and is ready to drive Communicates with sales office/customers by phone to update them of time of deliveries if there have been issues or changes to their estimated time of arrival Follows pre-planned route accurately without deviation from set course Maintains communication with Warehouse Supervisor to be informed of any change of delivery, route or schedule Informs management of any sales opportunities or observations from customer premises Cover a van route if required for holidays and absences, including central London.

Warehouse Operative



Picking and packing of customer orders ensuring daily tasks are carried out in accordance to health & safety practices. Operation of slitting, label and conversion equipment in a safe and efficient way ensuring daily tasks are carried out in accordance to health and safety practices. Ensure equipment is maintained and kept in good working order and regularly cleaned in accordance to our procedures. Reporting of any issues to supervisor Ensure work areas are clean and tidy for the safe transfer of materials and to allow everyone to carry out their daily duties During all aspects of material handling, continuously check to ensure the quality of the products for defects and report any issues to supervisor Work in an efficient way to ensure orders are collated correctly and are despatched in a safe and well presented packaging Operate forklift for unloading, loading of vehicles and storage of materials in our warehouse in a safe and tidy system Understanding and use of Opera and WMS software Follow ISO procedures and provide feedback to improve our systems Provide visiting customers with a first class service level Liaise with transport companies to fulfil customer order requirements Discuss with stock controller any stock issues and correct if required Provide feedback to sales co-ordinators relating to customer orders and enquiries Assisting in random stock checks Assisting in checking goods received and booking materials in and putting materials into the appropriate areas. Other ad hoc duties as may be required from time to time
