Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and movement of goods within our warehouse environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in warehouse management systems and mechanical operations while contributing to the smooth operation of our logistics processes. The position involves working in a fast-paced setting, requiring attention to detail, safety awareness, and physical stamina.

Part time role with overtime.

Monday 11am-5:30pm

Tuesday 5:00am - 10:30am

Wednesday 11am-5:30pm

Thursday 11am-5:30pm

Overtime to be discussed at interview.

Responsibilities

Loading and unloading goods from lorries using appropriate equipment such as forklifts Stocking shelves and organising inventory in accordance with warehouse procedures Handling materials safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting and manual handling tasks Picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment with accuracy and care Assisting with shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations Performing basic mechanical tasks related to equipment maintenance or troubleshooting as required Supporting stocktaking activities through accurate counting and recording of stock levels Collaborating with team members to meet daily operational targets

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided Proficiency in using forklift trucks (certification is advantageous) Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for stock accuracy Good physical fitness to handle manual tasks including load & unload operations Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
