Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative/Delivery Driver to join our small team here in Stirling. This full-time role reports to our Operations Manager and involves efficiently managing warehouse tasks and ensuring timely delivery of goods to our customers. The ideal candidate will be conscientious, a team player, and have a clean driving record.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Duties:

Receive, inspect, and process incoming stock.

Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery.

Organise and maintain inventory, ensuring items are correctly stored and easily accessible.

Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies.

Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.

Operate warehouse equipment such as walk behind pallet stackers, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (training provided if necessary).

Delivery Driver Duties:

Safely load and unload goods onto the delivery vehicle.

Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries.

Deliver orders to customers, ensuring goods are received in excellent condition.

Obtain delivery confirmations and signatures as required.

Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any questions or concerns.

Perform routine vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery role is preferred.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 15kgs).

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Working Conditions:

Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures including ambient, refrigerated and freezer environments

Time spent driving, including potential long distances and varied traffic conditions.

Regular physical activity, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Pay: From 12.50 per hour
