B Star VIP is a Furniture Home Delivery Company working for Retailers and Wholesalers across the UK.

We specialise in '2 Man White Glove' Delivery. This is to say we deliver heavy and fragile furniture items to customers houses, place the items as per the customer's request, unpack the items, set them up and remove the packaging. This 'VIP' delivery service is popular and sets us apart from our competitors. We offer a great customer experience and reduce the damage and returns rate for the retailers and wholesalers we work for. We deliver across the UK and are known for our friendly, helpful and polite service. At B Star our team members care about each and every job we do.

Duties

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring accurate inventory counts. Engage in picking and packing orders accurately for shipment. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists. Utilise warehouse management systems, to track inventory levels and manage stock efficiently. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency within the warehouse. Drive a 3.5T Van to collect goods from Customers Pick and Pack orders Load Vans Assist with Deliveries if required

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Familiarity with materials handling techniques is advantageous. Experience operating forklifts or similar machinery is beneficial. Knowledge of warehouse management systems will be considered an asset. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift. MUST HAVE A VALID UK DRIVING LICENSE WITH LESS THAN 6 POINTS.

Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm this may change to 8am to 5pm. Overtime is available

Efficiency Bonus available

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.85 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
