The Company
Orbital Direct Ltd provides UK transport, International Freight Forwarding and Warehousing services to customers in the UK and internationally.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager you will be looking after all of the inbound and outbound orders from either one of our Loughborough warehouses. You will be loading and unloading vehicles and containers, dealing with all of the paperwork as well as booking stock in and out of our warehouse management system.
This role will also invovle either driving the company delivery vehicles or working as an extra person on some of our 2 man deliveries. Start and finish times will vary dependant on the weeks work in hand.
Skills and requirements
Counter balance and reach truck experience would be an advantage.
Previous goods in/ out experience.
Applicant must be flexible as the role can involve early starts and late finishes.
Physically fit as this will involve heavy lifting.
Good communication and organisation is key.
Able to work on your own at times as well as part of a team.
Drivers licence.
