is a dual role with he successful candidate being responsible for the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse products as well as delivering our products in a professional and timely manner across the North and South of Ireland.
The role the Warehouse Operative/ Driver is to be fully flexible to cover all delivery routes across the North and South of Ireland. The shift will start each day at 6am however the successful candidate will need to be fully flexible to cover driving duties to 6pm if required, depending on the delivery route assigned for specific days. When not driving the successful candidate will work in the warehouse.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
This role will involve the following responsibilities:
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles and containers.
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles and containers.
Picking and Packing products in the warehouse.
Use of a handheld scanner and inputting data into our computer systems
Moving stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck
Replenishing stock
Reviewing orders prior to delivery
Loading and Unloading Vans/Lorry's
Delivering products to customers across the North and South of Ireland.
Providing exceptional customer service to our client base.
Obtaining delivery confirmation to our client base using handheld devices.
Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
Carrying out risk assessments and daily safety checks on the van.
Ensuring the van is clean and ready for the next delivery.
Follow all applicable traffic and transportation regulations, including driving within speed limits, proper use of seat belts, and adherence to vehicle weight limits.
Comply with company policies and procedures regarding vehicle operation and safety.
Assisting with stock takes
Ensuring the warehouses are clean, tidy and presentable.
General warehouse maintenance duties.

Essential Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a similar role.
Full Driving Licence
Good geographical knowledge
Experience of manual handling
Excellent verbal and written communication
Good time keeping and attendance record
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Be willing to follow all health and safety guidelines.
Be willing to work overtime and flexible to work different shifts as and when necessary
Be willing to undergo any internal/external training that may be required.
Desirable Skills & Experience
Forklift Truck Licence.
Previous working knowledge with Kerridge or other WMS/ERP systems.
