As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our Warehouse. You will be responsible for various tasks that include receiving, storing, and distributing goods, while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, the ability to operate various types of Warehouse equipment and adapt to the physical demands of the role.
In addition you will be able to drive to cover adhoc deliveries and annual leave for our permanent driver.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving and Processing Deliveries
Unloading incoming shipments and verify accuracy against packing lists.
Inventory Management
Store products in designated areas and maintain accurate inventory records (MRP).
Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock reconciliation
Order Fulfilment
Pick ,pack and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
Replenish Kanban stock for the Assembly department on a daily basis.
Raising Advice notes.
Report any damaged / missing items to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Warehouse Maintenance
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse space / adhere to 5s Standards.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
Equipment Operation
Operate Warehouse equipment such as Forklifts, Pallet truck and Man UP Order picker safely and efficiently.
Report routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues.
Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure timely order fulfilment.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Computer skills for Inventory Management systems, MRP such as 123 or similar software.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude.
Problem solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges
Previous experience in a warehouse or Logistics environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
