REACH TRUCK / COUNTER BALANCE TRUCK /WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

RTITB or similar Reach & Counter Balance fork truck certificates with recent experience is essential for this role

Genesis Distribution Ltd are recruiting for an additional Warehouse Operative within our busy Cwmbran Distribution Centre due to increased business.

The successful applicant will benefit from competitive rates of pay (26,000 per year basic + Overtime + Company Contributory Pension Scheme working days on a basic Monday to Friday 40 hour week in a busy multi customer third party warehouse environment. All applicants must be prepared to offer some flexibility in working hours and MUST have the following attributes:

Efficient and effective inventory paperwork controls.
Proven ability and experience in a similar environment.
Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
Basic warehouse system knowledge.
Good communication skills.

Job Duties:

Load and unload vehicles in a safe & efficient manner. Goods inwards bookings & locating palletised stock. General warehouse & housekeeping duties as assigned. Perform general duties in order to maintain a smooth operation Good understanding for warehouse practices & procedures. Inspect and maintain equipment reporting any defects or wear and tear.
