Overview

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment at our Totton Depot. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility. This role requires a strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols to ensure the smooth operation of warehouse activities.

Duties

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring proper handling of materials. Move materials to designated areas within the warehouse using a forklift. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments. Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring safe handling practices are followed. Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse setting. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. A valid forklift operator's licence
This role is Monday to Friday, 50 hours per week, 9am until 7.30pm, with Saturday's as overtime.
